In the summer season, we provide evening farm animal shows and displays which can include blade-shearing a sheep, and hand-feeding animals. The new Riverside Walkway is also close by and a short walk to the town centre with cafés.
Magic Murchison is famous for its outdoor recreation including white-water rafting, kayaking, jet boating, trout fly fishing, hunting, tramping and gold mining. Close to Nelson Lakes and Kahurangi National Park and also the Natural Flames Trip.
For the more sedate person a visit to our wonderful museum steeped in history is a wonderful way to fill in a couple of hours! Enquire about the Old Ghost Road Trail for cycling and tramping, we can transport you there and back.
